Join MTVH’s Property Directorate as our Energy and Carbon Performance Co-ordinator and help shape the future of decarbonisation.

This is a brilliant opportunity to dive into developing and implementing our Decarbonisation Strategy. You will be part of a fast-paced and collaborative team that’s passionate about sustainability and innovation.

Reporting to the Energy and Carbon Performance Manager, you’ll work on strategic projects, that influence real change in a highly regulated sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Helping shape our decarbonisation journey by using energy modelling tools and data to guide strategic decisions. Your insights will help us to prioritise the right actions for maximum impact.
  • Digging into data by exploring internal systems and datasets to uncover trends and opportunities that influence how we invest and operate, supporting key projects that will drive real change.
  • Making sure our data is up to date and reliable by setting up clear processes and working closely with other teams to understand how they collect and manage their information.

What you’ll need to succeed:

  • A relevant minimum professional qualification e.g. Degree in Environmental Science or building related qualification, or equivalent through training and experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills – conveying complex information in a clearly intelligible, concise and compelling manner
  • Be a self-starter and initiator for problem solving, and the ability to work on your own initiative with strong organisational skills in prioritising tasks
  • Experience of dealing with large data sets and knowledge of defining and creating validation processes for specialist relevant data
  • Experience of using energy modelling software desirable
