We are delighted to announce a unique opportunity to join a growing team with exciting plans to expand the services we provide. This new post will be an Audiology Assistant Apprenticeship with potential for progression on completion of the course.

Main duties of the job
You will:
Support the Audiology service
Perform clinical tasks including hearing tests, repairing hearing aids and advising patients on using their aids
Perform administrative tasks
Oversee stock levels
Participate in service development

Person specification
Qualifications
Essential criteria
Five or more GCSEs, including English and Maths at Grade C/4 or above (or equivalent qualifications)
IT proficiency, with basic computer literacy and familiarity with Microsoft Office
Desirable criteria
NVQ Level 3 or equivalent or Science-related A-Levels
Experience
Essential criteria
Experience in a clinical, client-centred, or public-facing role, including experience working with the public
Desirable criteria
Work within the NHS
Experience with hearing impaired individuals
General
Essential criteria
Demonstrated interest in audiology and direct patient care
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good literacy and numeracy
Eligible for apprenticeship programme – resident in UK/EU for at least 3 years.

Problem-solving skills
