Leonardo Hotels Head Office Birmingham has a great opportunity for a Credit Controller to join us at our Shared Service Centre.

We want you to be part of our friendly and diverse team, working together to provide our customers with a great customer service experience in a fast paced and evolving environment.

Your responsibilities will be:

  • Delivering excellent service to all of our customers, going above and beyond to exceed their expectations
  • To actively chase debts by liaising with the customers over the phone, by e-mail or by any other means at the Company’s disposal
  • To manage the outstanding balances before accounts become overdue
  • Monitor credit limits and report daily to the Credit Control Manager
  • To maintain communication records to support credit control activities ensuring compliance with the Group Policy
  • Payment Allocation
  • Ensure proactive planning takes place
  • To develop and assist in the implementation of any enhancements where required
  • Communicating and cooperating with management & colleagues
  • Representing the company values and adhering to brand standards
  • Using your own initiative in new and challenging situations
  • To communicate with all units to manage queries and resolve within the time lines set by the Company.

 

We are looking for

  • Creativity; someone who uses their own initiative, is proactive and able to solve problems
  • A great communicator; with an excellent telephone manner, literacy and computer skills
  • A cool head; someone who is organised, patient and able to multi-task
  • Very good IT skills in Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of the hospitality industry
  • Working knowledge of SAP/Opera (preferred not essential)
