Job Description

We have a really exciting opportunity to join Digitas as our new CRM Director!

As we look to grow and expand our CRM capabilities, we're looking for someone who can lead the way to bring the latest trends, approaches and solutions to our clients and their customer communications!

The CRM Director will act as a subject matter expert in both new business but also existing client growth. You'll set the CRM vision & strategy and sell this into our clients and internal teams. This role will bring together the broad skills sets and disciplines across the agency and keep everyone moving together toward that shared vision, all focused on CRM activity.

We are looking for someone with previous hands on experience leading CRM teams, spanning from launching and deploying successful multichannel journeys as well as scaling real time, highly personalised omnichannel experiences. Someone who can leverage the latest technology as well as AI, Data Science Models and high-quality creative approaches.

You'll lead a team to deliver industry leading deliverables, build strong client and internal relationships and own conversations around CRM recommendations and innovations.

You'll be responsible for:

  • Partnering with internal and external stakeholders to deliver end-to-end CRM journey orchestration, automated personalisation & customer centric comms & experiences.
  • Setting the vision of what good looks like when it comes the latest CRM best practices as well as robust foundations spanning Campaign Execution, Journey Automation and true Omnichannel Targeting.
  • Setting advanced CRM standards ensuring all internal teams are bought in, spanning strategy, creative, data tech and more.
  • Leading multi-disciplinary teams to implement and scale true omnichannel, real time, personalised customer experiences, that drive against customer KPI’s
  • Working with our Growth & Marketing team to build the relevant external thought leadership, marketing and partnerships
  • Collaborating with MarTech teams to enable the best capability to achieve the CRM & Clients objectives
  • Collaborate with our Global colleagues to ensure global strategy compliance, shared learnings and adopting new capabilities
  • Working with operational colleagues to drive process optimisations, efficiencies in team effectiveness and internal resourcing, plus clear client and internal communications.
  • Along the way, you will need to look for opportunities to deliver incremental workstreams that further the client’s ambitions but also deliver commercial value to Digitas


To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Extensive hands-on experience in implementing, delivering, and scaling complex CRM strategies.
  • Recent experience working with teams to develop and manage omnichannel, real-time, and personalized customer experiences that provide value.
  • Proficiency with key CRM tools and platforms, particularly Braze and Salesforce, with experience in other tools being beneficial.
  • In-depth knowledge of modern CRM data ecosystems, including real-time data integrations, data science models, and AI.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the evolving data landscape and relevant privacy and compliance regulations.
  • Leadership and significant experience in managing teams to achieve shared goals, deliver high-quality work, and maintain motivation.
  • Strong people leadership skills to develop and grow talent, inspire teams, and deliver innovative work that adds value for clients.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including data, tech, strategy, and creative teams, and navigate client internal structures and agency environments.
  • Flexibility to work at global, EMEA, and market-specific levels as needed.
  • Experience in working with diverse, multi-location teams and fostering high-performance cultures across different locations.
