About the role
The post holder will provide engaging advice and guidance to homeowners, landlords and residents on affordable warmth and energy efficiency funding opportunities. This includes advice in relation to grant funding available, eligible energy efficient measures and planned projects/works programmes in the North Northamptonshire Council area.
The post has been created to support the Council’s objectives to reduce C02 emissions from private sector housing stock and reduce the number of fuel poor households living in North Northants, by improving residents’ access to energy efficiency grants. It also contributes to the Council’s Carbon Management Plan and Climate Change Strategy.

About you
We are looking for a motivated, suitably experienced and professional individual to assist the Private Sector Housing service with providing residents of North Northamptonshire with home energy solutions. You will be educated to Level 6 (Degree Level), in any subject and have strong project management skills and experience. You will need to have knowledge of building design and energy efficiency retrofit options.
We are seeking a candidate with good inter-personal and communication skills, who has a strong track record of providing high quality, effective and customer focussed service.
