Job Introduction

Main Responsibilities

  • Ensure all outbound shipments are export compliant with local market regulations including (but not exclusive to): USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand & India) customs regulations.
  • Ensure all shipping documentation is accurate and on time, issuing to business partners, shipping agents and internal CardFactory teams.
  • Identify the best Supply Chain routes to market balancing cost, speed, reliability and visibility.
  • Work with internal CardFactory stakeholders to ensure all product master data is accurate (weight, dimensions, commodity codes, lead times)
  • Lead global export shipping tenders from quote stage to final delivery
  • Create & issue monthly reports for export compliance, measuring Partner SLA’s (delivery on time, in full & accuracy)
  • Support on wider business initiatives to improve CardFactory Supply Chain operations
  • Work with CardFactory Supply Chain team to define process e.g. Cross Docking, containerisation, 3PL

 

The Ideal Candidate

  • Knowledge of export/import requirements for shipping goods to international markets e.g. USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand & India
  •  Knowledge of Supply Chain processes, internal and external (Warehousing, carrier networks, shipping etc)
  • Awareness of the role QC has in exporting/importing of products
  • Experience in establishing and defining export processes and reporting in a similar role/function
  • Ideally, a background in a retail supply chain role
  • SAP S4 Hana experienced preferred but not essential
