We have an opportunity to join our motivated and highly skilled residential team as an Intervenor to work with a deaf-blind student who will be staying with us one night per week.
As an intervenor, you will play a central role in ensuring high quality support is provided to the student so that they have the opportunity to access information, develop and learn and are able to access social and fun activities within the unit. You will need to be familiar with BSL at Least to Level 1 but ideally Level 2
This is an opportunity for someone who is passionate about transforming young peoples’ lives, promoting independence and has a desire to develop their career in a Special School setting. You’ll be working within an experienced team of colleagues committed to providing high quality support and education to the children and young people across the school.
Candidates must be willing to undertake a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare if they do not already have this qualification. It is also a requirement that candidate possess a recognised intervenor qualification.
