Inventory Control Analyst – LaVergne, 37086, United States of America
How we LEAD:
This role will be responsible for all activities required to support Inventory Control receiving, processing, and reporting, working closely in the Warehouse with the UMG physical supply chain and Vantiva operations teams.
How you’ll CREATE:
Inventory Control
- Proactively verify that inventory receiving transactions are reported accurately and in a timely manner
- Analyze and investigate goods receipts failed idoc errors on a daily basis to clear goods receipts to S4
- Process various inventory movements on request, ensuring appropriate approvals and documentation maintained for audit trail.
- Analyze and investigate inventory variances on request
- Request and reconcile Disney weekly counts
- Request and reconcile adhoc cycle count requests
- Compare carton count and weights and dims data to ensure accuracy between Vantiva and S4.
- Assist in efforts to report, manage & dispose of excess & obsolete inventory.
- Assist in clearing Inventory Control mailbox & processing requests as required.
- Assist with new label mass stock receipts and reconciliation
- Assist with high priority release receiving too ensure product is received in time for street date.
- Other Inventory tasks as required.
Reworks and Defective product
- Process all rework requests, raising purchase orders and liaising with labels, PTP release managers and Vantiva to ensure process in completed correctly and promptly.
- Ensure all reworked goods are received back into Vantiva and S4 in a timely manner
- Identify defective product issues, photograph and liaise with appropriate parties to determine course of action to correct.
Audits
- Assist with individual product cycle count reviews and adjustments.
- Assist with 3rd party label audits & reconciliations.
- Assist with year-end external audit stock count and adjustment requests.
- Assist with internal audit stock count, adjustment requests & reconciliations.
Strategic Process Improvement & Compliance
- Participate in the evaluation of current Inventory Control systems recommending enhancements and modifications.
- Develop, evaluate, document, and improve department / inter-department processes and implement recommendations.
- Ensure inventory control procedures are followed and comply with internal and external requirements.
KPI Reporting
- Responsibility for the development and utilization of Goods receiving reports and appropriate performance indicators.

- Previous hands-on experience using a modern ERP system and identifying process improvements.
- Demonstrated understanding of inventory transactions and control
- Demonstrated ability to effectively review and analyse inventory related reports.
- Previous experience with robotic process automation or a willingness to learn.

Experience
- 2-3 years within supply chain operations or inventory control preferably in the Media, Entertainment, Branded Product, Merchandise or Consumer Package products segments. Omni channel fulfillment experience will be a big plus.
- Supply Chain knowledge with solid understanding of inventory Key Performance Indicators and Operation Excellence initiatives, Supply Chain Processes and Systems
- BA/BS in Accounting, Business, Supply Chain or related field; or equivalent experience
