Job Description

The successful Reception Manager will be highly motivated and proactive to lead the delivery of two reception areas across two buildings.  The Reception Manager will cover one building whilst overseeing a receptionist who covers the other.  This leadership role involves overseeing front-of-house operations – meet and greet, booking and managing events and pop ups whilst always ensuring an exceptional client and visitor experience.   As the primary liaison between the client, operations, and on site teams, the Reception Manager will coordinate projects, track timelines, and implement innovative service improvements. The role also requires the ability to resolve challenges effectively, build strong stakeholder relationships, and uphold the highest standards of service excellence.

Hours: 40 hours per week, Mon-Fri 07:00 am to 19:30 pm
Salary: £36,225



Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have experience in leading teams and leading front-of-house operations, ideally in a corporate environment. Proven ability to coordinate and oversee the service and meet expectations of clients who are new to Portico services, ensuring smooth transitions and high service standard is essential. Previous experience within managing client relationships, resolving service issues, and driving continuous improvement is desirable.

And someone who has a strong desire and ability to manage, source and arrange small events in the lobby area and pop ups.
