THE ROLE
Reporting directly to the North America Head of Logistics & Distribution, this role will be managing the shipping and warehouse operations across the North America Distribution Center. Providing leadership and support to the warehouse leadership team, surrounding operational improvements, efficiencies and recommendations.
WHAT WILL I BE DOING?
- Effectively manage the logistics of product to arrive at stores and our warehouse on time and at the right cost.
- Work closely with Retail teams to ensure stock is distributed to retail and partner within NA
- Responsibility for general management of employees, including setting objectives, monitoring performance, and coaching
- Ensure accuracy in warehouse inventory and reporting, and keep costs within the agreed budget of the NA P&L report.
- Build successful relationships with corporate partners, both domestic and international.
- Defining and documenting operational processes: Establish effective processes to ensure the smooth running of logistics and fulfilment functions.
- Optimizing the operations through staying up to date with market advancances and making recommendations for improvements.
- Organising the movement of stock across NA through full order management, from order creation through to delivery to site.
- Liaising between customers, suppliers and vendors, checking all documentations are prepared, in place and compliant with import regulations.
- Adding, forecasting, controlling, reconciling stock and preparing reports
- Resolving queries in a timely fashion including collections/credits and returns as well as issues regarding customs on shipments
- Maintaining and training on compliance of warehouse safety standards, in adherence with OSHA regulations
- Good receipt and stock control Management
WHAT SKILLS DO I NEED?
- 3+ years of experience of operational and logistics management, ideally within fashion, retail or fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sectors preferred
- High school diploma required, Associates Degree preferred
- Strong background in running shipping and warehouse teams
- Immaculate attention to detail
- Confident, articulate and professional communication abilities, both verbal and written
- Ability to build strong stakeholder relationships
- Adaptable to commercially focused environments
- Bi-lingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred
- Ability to stand for long periods of time, and walk the warehouse floor
- Ability to lift 25 pounds or more
- Availability of working business hours during weekdays, with some weekend work required
- Experience operating a forklift preferred
- Proficient in reporting tools, such as Excel and Google Workspace
Pay Range in Bolingbrook, Illinois:
Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
Base Salary:
$75,000/yr – $80,000/yr
ABOUT THE LOCATION
Our North America region is made up of 71 retail locations across the U.S. and Canada, with our flagship store in New York City. We are primarily based out of our Los Angeles studios, bringing our brand’s iconic aesthetic to West Hollywood, CA.
