We have the opportunity for a Children’s Services Information Assistant to join the Performance and Insights team within the People Directorate. This is a 24 hour a week position split evenly over Monday – Friday.
The main function of this role is to support the collection of statutory returns across both Families and Childrens and Education & Skills Services. This includes the DfE School census which happens three times a year and attainment assessment collections which happen on an annual basis. This role assists in the logging and tracking of children missing from education, completing data checks and updating records as required to support the analysts in the team.
You will be educated to A level standard or equivalent and be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications. You will have experience in and be confident in handling very large quantities of data. It would be advantageous though not essential to have knowledge of requirements of statutory returns relating to schools.
