Job Title: Teacher – Maths
Salary: Salary commencing at £30,527 with progression to £34,349 per year
About the Role
What You Will Do
This role involves designing and delivering innovative and engaging Maths sessions to both 16-18 and adult learners of varying ability. You will work closely with the Programme Manager & Course Leader of Maths to meet the requirements of the qualifications. You will also work closely with the Study Support coaches to identify learners who need extra support and small group support.
As part of the role you will:

Plan, prepare and develop effective schemes of work, lesson plans, teaching and learning resources including the development of on-line learning resources.

Deliver inspiring sessions across the curriculum using a wide range of teaching methods for identified modules.

Create effective assessment activities, provide developmental and timely feedback to motivate and inspire learners to improve.

Develop and strengthen relationships with students and provide support and encouragement to ensure successful outcomes.

About You
The ideal candidate will have a recognised teaching qualification and experience of delivering maths GCSE & Functional Skills in an FE setting. You will have experience of setting targets for students and have strategies and the skills to help students achieve their potential. Enthusiasm and resilience are important.
