Overview

We are looking for Animal Studies Lecturers with the ability to deliver across the full range of the department’s provision. We are also offering this role on a sessional basis at £20.35 per hour. You may currently be working in an Animal Care setting looking for your first job in teaching. 

You will have a passion for innovation, bringing new ideas and embedding new technologies into the learning environment. Working as part of the Animal Studies team you will be responsible for the delivery and development of courses. 

You will possess an excellent knowledge and understanding of Animal management and be able to plan and use a range of effective and appropriate teaching and learning techniques. Set in an 850 acre countryside estate, our dedicated animal care unit is home to a range of animal species giving our students the hands-on experience they need to build a success career in the industry. As well as your relevant experience and current knowledge, you will also be willing to obtain a relevant teaching qualification (DTLLS, PGCE or equivalent) if you do not already possess one.
