Yard Operative – Hayes, Greater London
FM Conway is currently recruiting for a Yard Operative to join our Street Lighting division. As our Yard Operative, you will be responsible for by providing an effective yard and stores service, including providing support to the divisions working out of this site. This is a permanent, full-time position from our Uxbridge depot.
The duties of the Yard Operative role will include:
– Ensuring all stock levels are maintained and can be accounted for
– Ensuring the whole yard is always kept clean and tidy
– Working with the Yard / Stores Supervisor and ensure the yard is compliant with current Health & Safety legislation
– Issuing materials and stocked items only if correct documentation has been received and processed
What skills and experience do you need?
We are looking for a Yard Operative with knowledge of health and safety, highways and building materials. Ideally, you will have a background in stock control procedures. A driving license and access to your own vehicle is required due to the remote location of the yard.
