About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Compliance and Performance Manager to join our team at at Medirest working with the NHS Trust. Working alongside the Senior Team, you will take a lead role in ensuring commercial and contract compliance, providing expert advice to internal and external stakeholders, and supporting informed commercial decision-making.

This role is ideal for someone with strong commercial acumen, a proven track record in quality assurance, and a passion for driving operational excellence in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead contractual compliance activities, ensuring obligations, SLA’s, and performance mechanisms are met.

  • Support operations teams in creating robust frameworks for contract delivery and compliance.

  • Manage quality, health & safety, and monitoring requirements, setting benchmarks and providing training for consistent standards.

  • Oversee communication, administration, and audit functions across Trust sites.

  • Develop and implement quality plans to meet contract specifications and address deficiencies promptly.

  • Produce and report management information relating to quality, H&S, and performance metrics.

  • Monitor labour hours and operational efficiency, identifying opportunities for improvement.

  • Ensure all HSE procedures are implemented, incidents are reported, and training records are maintained.

  • Support risk management at operational, financial, commercial, and technical levels.

  • Build and maintain positive client relationships and manage contractual claims or disputes.

  • Support Sales and Legal Teams in due diligence, benchmarking, and evaluating commercial opportunities.

  • Participate in projects to support sector objectives and undertake other duties as required.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:

  • Proven commercial knowledge and experience with contractual payment mechanisms.

  • Previous experience in a similar role, ideally within healthcare or a complex organisational environment.

  • Background in auditing or quality assurance

  • Strong IT skills and excellent communication abilities.

  • Results-oriented with evidence of improving quality in prior roles.

  • Experience interpreting and developing contract schedules, SLA’s, method statements, and KPIs.

  • Understanding of legal principles, GDPR, and other regulatory frameworks.

  • Demonstrated experience in stakeholder engagement, negotiation, and project management.
