Contract: 18 months Fixed Term Contract
Working Days & Hours: – Monday – Friday – 37 hours per week
Package includes Salary £ 26,118.22 a year, plus competitive benefits
About the Role:
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Sales Order Processing Operative to join our team in Monmouth.
This is a key role ensuring that our customers receive a professional, efficient, and accurate service at all times. You will be the first point of contact for customers, processing orders, handling enquiries, and supporting the wider sales operations team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process all customer orders (received via email, phone, or internally) in a timely and accurate manner.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with both external and internal customers.
- Answer the main phone line, directing calls where appropriate.
- Assist with the accurate and efficient processing of scheme stocktakes.
- Carry out daily administrative and housekeeping activities including:
- Sales invoicing
- Voucher processing
- Updating sales order status reports
- Entering credit card payments
- End-of-day updates
About you:
Essential:
- Effective telephone manner
- Collaborative skills when working with a team
- High attention to detail
- Proficient numeracy skills
Desirable:
- Experience using Sage 200
- Previous experience in an office-based role
