Creative Marketing Senior Manager (FTC 12 months) – Liverpool
Job Introduction
We have an exciting opportunity for an individual to join our Liverpool FC team as a Senior Manager, Creative Marketing on a 12 month FTC.
This role sits within the LFC Marketing department and plays a pivotal part in shaping how the Club is visually represented across campaigns and marketing initiatives. The Senior Manager, Creative Marketing will lead the day-to-day management of stills, video, and eCommerce content creation, ensuring all outputs align with Club guidelines, strategic objectives, and the Red Way.Â
A key focus will be on supporting the merchandise department through the development and execution of visually compelling, strategically aligned campaigns that drive product visibility and sales. The role involves close collaboration with internal teams and external partners, using data-driven insights to inform creative direction and deliver impactful content across multiple channels.

What will you be doing?
- Brand Identity Leadership: Acts as a key stakeholder in shaping Liverpool FC’s visual identity, ensuring consistency across departments and partners in line with brand guidelines and strategic goals.
- Budget Management: Oversees the marketing content budget, including reporting and planning, ensuring cost-effectiveness and return on investment.
- Creative Workflow Oversight: Manages the creative studio’s workflow, aligning priorities with marketing strategy and ensuring content complies with Club policies.
- Project Management: Leads large-scale creative projects from briefing to delivery, ensuring alignment with timelines, strategy, and insights.
- Insight-Driven Content: Promotes a culture of insight-led content creation, optimising for audience and channel through collaboration with internal and external insight sources.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Works closely with product, sales, and marketing teams to understand audience needs and share campaign previews for effective planning.
- Campaign Coordination: Maintains regular communication with the Campaigns Team to ensure timely delivery of creative assets and contribute to performance reviews.
- International Retail Support: Coordinates with the International Retail Marketing Manager to deliver optimised assets and share best practices with global partners.
- Team Leadership: Leads team meetings and 1:1s, supports professional development through PDPs, and conducts bi-annual performance reviews.

Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a highly experienced and driven individual with significant experience in a similar role within the sport or lifestyle sector and prove experience of people management experience.Â
The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong ability to research, compile, and project manage the delivery of multi-channel creative assets, with a clear understanding of how to effectively utilise diverse creative formats across marketing and sales channels. A deep knowledge of multi-channel customer journeys and what constitutes effective content and campaign execution is essential.Â
This role requires a confident leader who excels in cross-departmental collaboration and stakeholder engagement to deliver impactful outcomes. Strong financial acumen, including budget planning and reporting, is key, alongside the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop a high-performing team.Â
The ideal candidate will also have proven experience in presenting content, project plans, and insights to stakeholders, managing external agencies, and demonstrating excellent organisational and time management skills. A proactive, open communicator who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is flexible to support content creation moments will be well-suited to this role.

This is a full-time Fixed Term Contract (12 months) role working 35 hours per week. Your main base will be our Liverpool City Centre office on Chapel Street.Â
