You will be supported by a Data Protection Specialist, who you will report to.
What you’ll do
Be the first point of contact for customers and colleagues who want to exercise their data subject rights (for example, making a subject access request or asking for their data to be deleted).
Review those requests and triage them to ensure that they are dealt with promptly and effectively within the legal deadline.
Have responsibility for logging requests on the team’s database and tracking them through to completion.
Action requests: gather documents and information from the relevant parts of the business, review the information to ensure the right level of detail is shared.
Communicate with individuals in relation to their requests.
Work with the team to resolve challenges and issues as they arise.

– Great time management;
– Ability to work under pressure;
– Ability to proactively seek out better ways of doing things and offer up ideas and solutions;
– Comfortable using Microsoft programs such as Outlook, Word and PowerPoint and learning how to use new software (the team uses One Trust).
