Scheduler – Reading, Berkshire, RG2 6AD
Contract: Permanent
Salary: This role will be paid £25,000 to £28,000 per annum depending on skills and experience
Are you experienced in working in a fast-paced environment and looking for your next challenge?
We’re looking for a highly organised and motivated Scheduler to join our Operational Services Centre team, helping to keep our field teams moving and our customers happy.
What you’ll be doing as a Scheduler
- Planning and scheduling reactive and maintenance work across a large geographical area.
- Ensuring technicians have full schedules and the right resources to get the job done.
- Monitoring and prioritising reactive work to meet demanding SLAs.
- Collaborating closely with planners, field teams, and coordinators to resolve issues quickly.
- Supporting continuous improvement by helping to identify smarter ways of working.
Base Location: Kemble Court, Reading.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday — 7:00 am to 3:00 pm or 7:30 am to 3:30 pm
What you should bring to the role
- Proven experience in a fast-paced, coordinating, scheduling or customer service role.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Strong IT literacy, ideally with experience using SAP, Click, and Microsoft Office.
- A proactive, problem-solving approach and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Experience in coordinating or scheduling will be beneficial.
- Previous experience in the water or wastewater industry is desirable but not essential.
