Who are we?
Integrated Maintenance & Repair (IMR) Water Recycling (WR) Alliance – Part of the Anglian Water, Water Recycling Networks (WRN) team who manage the entire gravity and pressure sewer network in AW. The focus is not solely on infrastructure maintenance, we are an intelligent alliance that uses data to enhance the performance of our infrastructure assets in line with the wider Anglian Water Outcome Delivery Incentives (ODIs).
What will you be doing as our new Trenchless Area Manager?
You will play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of trenchless/CIPP projects and Proactive Parcels. Your collaboration with the regional lining planner will be instrumental in ensuring that project schedules, resources, and execution plans are optimised. By leading with integrity and fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, you will drive compliance, safety, and efficiency throughout the process.
The successful candidate will be expected to adhere to company policies and procedures regarding health, safety, and environmental standards.
This role will require travel to project sites within the designated area.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership on Large-Scale Trenchless/CIPP Projects and Proactive Parcels:

Lead and oversee all aspects of trenchless/CIPP projects and Proactive Parcels within the designated area.

Ensure projects are executed efficiently, safely, and in compliance with company standards and UK specifications.
Engagement with Stakeholders, Programme Teams, and Planners:

Collaborate with relevant stakeholders, programme teams, and planners to ensure seamless project execution.

Communicate effectively to address any concerns or issues that may arise during project implementation.
Design and Solutions Compliance:

Develop solutions and designs that align with department standards and comply with UK specifications and approvals.

Ensure materials used in projects meet compliance requirements and undergo testing with independent testing facilities.
CDM Compliance and Obligations:

Fullfil the obligations of a Designer for CDM (Construction Design and Management) purposes.

Assist in preparing Pre-Construction Information (PCI) and Construction Phase Plans (CPP) to ensure compliance and safety.
​Support for Trenchless Site Manager:

Provide support and guidance to the trenchless Site Manager to ensure effective execution of their duties.

Ensure Site Manager has the necessary tools, training, and knowledge to perform their role efficiently.
Monthly Standdowns and Updates:

Organise and facilitate monthly standdown meetings, where updates on departmental, organisational, and health and safety matters are delivered.

Play a significant role in delivering updates and ensuring effective communication within the team.
Key Skills and Qualifications:

Extensive experience in trenchless/CIPP projects and Proactive Parcels management.

Strong understanding of UK specifications, approvals, and compliance requirements.

Proficiency in project management tools and techniques.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve project objectives.

Knowledge of CDM regulations and obligations.

Certification as a Designer for CDM purposes would be advantageous.
