The Mindworks Hub Clinical Practitioner (Social Worker, Nurse or Occupational Therapist) will be a member of the multi-disciplinary specialist team, providing services to children and young people 5-18 years and young people in transition to adult services with mental health needs, emotional and behavioural problems.
The main responsibilities of the post holder will be providing assessments and treatment, either individually or with a member of the multidisciplinary team depending on the complexity of the referral, within both clinic and community settings. The post holder will be able to offer a range of therapeutic interventions appropriate to the care pathway the young person is on.
As part of a busy CYPS Directorate and alongside our Alliance Partnership including local voluntary sector organisations, you will be supporting the team in leading with the implementation and embedding of the THRIVE Framework across the newly created Mindworks CYPS in North Surrey.
You will have demonstrable expertise working with young people under the age of 18 years.

Qualifications
Essential criteria
- Degree in Nursing, Occupational Therapy or Social Work
- Relevant registration with NMC, SWE or HCPC
- Post graduate qualification in child development, attachment, or family functioning or equivalent experience
Desirable criteria
- Post graduate qualification to degree level
Experience
Essential criteria
- Sound experience of working with CYP with a variety of mental health issues
- Expertise and experience in supervision and supporting the growth of other staff.
- Proven ability to provide training and education regarding mental health and complex clinical topics
- Demonstrable expertise in complex assessment of people with both mental and physical health issues
- Demonstrable ability to develop practical innovations and approaches to issues and complex problems.
- Awareness of National agendas for the development and growth of CYPS
