Strategic Bid Management Lead – Remote

We are currently seeking an exceptional Strategic Bid Management Lead here at Incora.

The Strategic Bid Management Lead is responsible for facilitating the end-to-end bidding process for contract opportunities: reviewing incoming bids with Senior Management; conducting initial bid analysis; ensuring process governance; distributing items to the Bid Sourcing and Pricing and Data teams; running detailed Business Case analysis; ensuring packages are priced competitively and reviewed for completeness before delivery to the customer.
The Strategic Bid Management Lead will run and develop effective strategies and tools in support of incoming customer contract requests, ranging from simple price lists to 4PL service contracts. Collaboration of these bid packages with Sales, Procurement, Quality, Finance and Operations is an essential aspect of the job.
Key Activities will include:
- Able to demonstrate flexibility and learning agility in respect of the anticipated demand and provide the highest quality which meets the needs and requirements of customers and Incora
- Ability to communicate at all levels is essential to be effective in this role and to build relationships at all levels across the business.
- Ensure data integrity across all team trackers and databases
- Provide essential bid analysis and summaries for Senior Stakeholders
- Completing data analysis on bid information to inform bid setup
- Review ongoing bid priorities and capacity with the Senior Manager and Director
- Coordinate bid responsibilities and requirements with appropriate team members
- Communicate overall pricing strategies within the team and ensure these are followed through
- Ensure that contract bids comply with customer requirements
- Obtain internal approval at senior and executive leadership level in line with the appropriate internal procedures
- Assess business cases for data errors
- Assess commercial viability of business proposals and make recommendations to balance customer requirements and profitability
- Coordinate information with sales branches, purchasing, quality, finance and other appropriate departments
- Maintain folders for proposals, awards, contracts, long term agreements, contracts amendments and other related documentation
- Coordinate handover of new contracts to the Implementation Team
- Reporting departmental and business KPI’s, ensuring updates and maintenance of bid status information for accurate reporting
About You:
- Educated to degree level within Business Studies / Management or in a Numerical discipline
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excell Required
- Functional knowledge of basic financial metrics
- Able to manage multiple projects in fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated experience drafting and presenting financial models and proposals to Sr level stakeholders
- Excellent communication skills with the demonstrated ability to effectively work as part of a cross functional team
- Previous bidding experience and/or Experience pricing Aerospace product a plus
