We are currently seeking an exceptional professional to join us as Technical Engineer -Procurement.

About Role:
The Technical Engineer Procurement will provide expertise and execute tasks on the control of special processes performed in the External Supply Chain. The products are involved with a wide range of materials applications including heat treatment, chemical processes, non-conventional machining, welding, and advanced coating processes.
Provide knowledge and guidance on all special processes in support of the full product life cycle.
- Ensuring product integrity for component is delivered through alignment of Method of Manufacture with Design Intent by authorizing First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs), authorizing Data Cards, and assessing and approving Fixed Process Documents (FPD)
- Participate in the Nadcap Accreditation process
- Audit Special Process requirements at External Suppliers
- Perform New Approval Requests for new suppliers and new processes
- Support external supply chain with problem solving development and cost reduction of special process activities
- Understand and evaluate international specifications
- Supplier process approvals
- Technical support for special processes

About You:
- Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering Discipline with 3+ years’ experience
- Master’s or PhD in an Engineering Discipline
- Working knowledge of special processes.
- Knowledge of a specific special process e.g. coatings, non-conventional machining, shot peening, or chemical processes such as anodizing, plating is also desirable.
- An ability to apply logical, analytical and innovative thinking to a range of technical problems
