Car Parks & Advertising Business Development Manager (3599) – Monument Place
We’re looking for a driven and commercially focused Business Development Manager to unlock new ancillary revenue streams across both car parking and advertising.
The Role
This is a dual-focus role where you will lead the commercial management, strategic development and performance oversight of GTR’s car parking and advertising contracts, ensuring they deliver maximum revenue, strong customer outcomes and full contractual compliance.
You’ll play a key role in driving growth, building strategic partnerships, and maximising the commercial potential of our car park and advertising sites.
Key Responsibilities
Identify opportunities to grow revenue through pricing, product development, digital innovation, estate optimisation and new commercial formats.
- Develop business cases for new initiatives, contract variations and investment proposals.
- Work with Procurement and Legal to ensure compliant, competitive and commercially robust processes.
- Collaborate with DfTO, other TOCs and Network Rail where services or contracts are being consolidated or jointly managed.
- Ensure robust financial controls, accurate reporting and transparent decision‑making.
- Collaborate with internal teams on pricing and proposals.
About you:-
- Highly organised, able to manage multiple contracts and simultaneously develop strategic income growth plans.
- Demonstrable experience of using financial, sales and performance data and modelling to drive commercial decisions and develop business cases for new initiatives, contract variations and investment proposals.
- Experience delivering value‑for‑money outcomes and managing commercial risk.
- Experience of working in a highly regulated environment.
- Experience working with DfT/DfTO, TOCs, Network Rail or public‑sector partners.
