About Us
This role sits within Faculty Education Services (FES) in the Faculty of Life Sciences & Medicine (FoLSM). The FES Project Team supports a portfolio of strategic education projects, including digital transformation initiatives, national and international partnership activity.
Working within a small, high-performing project team, the postholder will play a key role in supporting the coordination and delivery of multiple concurrent projects, contributing to both operational and strategic activity across the faculty.
About the role
This role provides senior-level project support across a varied portfolio of strategic and operational education projects within the Faculty of Life Sciences & Medicine. Working closely with both the Project Manager and Senior Project Manager, you will act as a central coordination point across multiple concurrent projects, helping to ensure activity is aligned, organised, and delivered effectively.
A key focus of the role is supporting stakeholder engagement and the day-to-day running of the project function, including managing complex diaries, coordinating meetings, and ensuring effective communication across internal and external stakeholders. You will also play a central role in supporting governance processes, including organising and servicing working groups and committees, preparing agendas and papers, taking high-quality minutes, and tracking actions through to completion.
This role offers a valuable opportunity for an early-career project professional or aspiring Project Manager to gain exposure to working within a busy project environment, with a strong emphasis on coordination, stakeholder engagement, and governance support.
This is a full-time post (35 hours per week) and you will be offered an indefinite contract.
