Purpose of the role:
This role is to offer support to the People Operations Team, to help manage and maintain the HR information system Dayforce that supports our nurseries. This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in HR systems administration, data management, and system support, all while working in a collaborative environment. You will assist in ensuring that our HR system runs efficiently and data is accurate, enabling us to continue providing excellent service to our employees and nurseries.

Key responsibilities:
- Assist in the administration and maintenance of HR systems, ensuring data is accurate, complete, and securely stored.
- Provide day-to-day support to staff across multiple nurseries with HRIS-related queries and troubleshooting.
- Help with system updates and configuration changes, ensuring the HR systems are running efficiently.
- Conduct regular data audits to ensure employee information (e.g., personal details, attendance, payroll data) is accurate.
- Support people team members in generating reports.
- Help with the onboarding process by assisting with the setting up of new employees in HR systems.
- Assist in monitoring system security and access controls to ensure employee data is kept confidential.
- Collaborate with the People team to implement new system features or tools that improve HR processes.
- Learn to provide basic system training for staff to ensure they are using the HR systems effectively.
- Support data privacy and compliance with legal regulations (e.g., GDPR) in the handling of sensitive employee information.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving any issues with HR software, liaising with the software vendor for technical support if necessary.
Skills and experience:
- A keen interest in HR processes, technology, and system administration.
- Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem‑solving
- Strong Excel skills and experience with HR reporting tools.
- Experience working with HRIS preferably Dayforce or other HRIS providers
- Good analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and produce meaningful insights
- Strong understanding of GDPR, data security, and audit requirements
- Confident in engaging with suppliers, IT teams, and cross‑functional stakeholders
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A willingness to learn and take on new challenges in HR systems administration.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and manage time efficiently.
- Must have lived in the UK for a minimum of 3 years.
