What You’ll Do
As a Global HR Projects & Change Senior Manager you will be responsible for progressing elements of our Core HR, HR Operations, and Business Services Team (BST) HR change agendas that further enable BCG to serve its employees with a best-in-class people-first HR organization. You will lead challenging projects and/or workstreams within complex programs. You will collaborate with colleagues within our People/HR functions – at a regional, business unit, and geography level, and within our global centers of expertise – as well as with colleagues in other functions.
Our global change agenda spans a range of priorities and underlying initiatives. Members of this team help accelerate and advance those priorities by leading and teaming on specific projects and programs, usually with global reach, and sometimes relating to HR systems or technology implementations. These efforts require a consultative approach; capabilities in problem solving, program/project management, communication and stakeholder/change management; Members of this team quickly develop further subject matter expertise on topics ranging from HR process redesign to shared services to employee relations and beyond.

You have a proven ability to manage complex projects with a wide range of global stakeholders. You are equally comfortable diving in to understand detail and get work done. You bring a strong problem-solving toolkit and sound judgment to solve difficult problems and drive positive impact and change.
You are a strong communicator who listens and can clearly explain/”tell the story” in order to propel change with a diverse and engaged group of stakeholders. You are creative and flexible. It’s assumed you have strong collaboration skills and a team orientation, and always manage highly sensitive topics with integrity and confidentiality. You understand digital enablement and collaboration and effectively leverage AI.
Specific responsibilities may include
- Lead specific projects including scoping work, developing overall project plan/team charters, clarifying priorities, monitoring progress against milestones
- Provide guidance and support to working teams to surface and address issues that arise; digging into the details to help move things forward as needed
- Conduct analysis to identify insights and practical recommendations, communicating them clearly
- Own and drive one or more specific workstreams as part of broader global program, or drive definition and execution of a pilot program
- Define, convene, and develop effective materials and sessions for project governing and working teams to advance the project while ensuring engagement (e.g., steering committee, design teams, working teams)
- Coordinate across diverse global teams; including making connections, supporting collaboration, and establishing regular communication channels
- On HR technical implementations, help create shared understanding of priorities and tactical steps between technical teams and HR functional stakeholders
- Develop effective, employee-centric communication, training, and launch materials for project initiatives, in collaboration with HR stakeholders and leveraging centers of expertise
What You’ll Bring
- 8+ years’ Consulting experience from top-tier firm or within a high-calibre HR team
- Experience managing large-scale, global projects in support of organizational change efforts; Proven excellence with complex project management
- Familiarity with professional services companies and business models
- Strong communication skills with an ability to clarify problems and articulate solutions, both verbally and in slides and other written communication
- Ability to communicate effectively with, listen to, and facilitate effective discussions across cultures, time zones, geographies, and seniority levels
- Ideally some product, system or digital experience particularly around HR systems and use cases
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or related advanced degree is a plus
- Strong AI fluency, and advanced skills in creating MS PowerPoint presentations; MS Word; strong Excel
