Job Description
As a Junior Planning Engineer, you will be responsible for providing planning support, working with the project team to develop and manage programmes.

Responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the project plan using software , working with stakeholders to capture assumptions and identify dependencies to ensure plans are robust.
- Contribute towards the development of Work Breakdown and progress monitoring strategy.
- Identify project resource requirements through the application of project planning techniques.
- Gathers information from project teams and stakeholders and produces basic project performance reports.
- Integrate 3rd party schedules and data into the overall project plan
- Regular interfacing and integration with the project controls team to maintain an aligned financial position with the Project Plan.
- Developing skills in new software including, Primavera (P6)
- This role requires 4 days on site working
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
Essential
- An interest in the construction industry
- Good IT literacy with the MS Office.
- Good communication skills and working in a Team.
- An organised individual that can work well within a team and to deadline.
Desirable
- Previous knowledge of planning activities.
Qualifications
Essential
- Minimum GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths
Desirable
- Minimum of HNC/HND ideally in a planning discipline or relevant experience
- APM Project Membership
