It is committed to delivering high quality clinical care in a research-oriented environment, and is well recognised for specialist training in Medical Oncology. King’s Health Partners is the alliance between the partner hospitals and King’s College London (KCL), together forming one of the largest centres for biomedical research and education in Europe. Clinical and translational research forms a key component of the CC’s cancer strategy. The achievements and potential of the institutions in the fields of cancer research have been recognised with designation as an Experimental Cancer Medicine Centre, and as a part of the Cancer Research UK City of London Major Centre. Trainees in Oncology enjoy the active support of a large department composed of medical and clinical oncology consultants.
