Digital Workplace Engineer – Huntington
As a Digital Workplace Engineer you will work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to build technology solutions that improve business processes.
You’ll work at the sharp end of modern IT delivery — designing, building, and supporting the digital tools and platforms that keep the business moving.

Role Details:
• Annual salary up to £50,000 dependent on skills and experience. Plus potential annual-on-target bonus of up to 5% subject to business performance
• Role based: York, YO32 9PT (must live locally)
• Contract type: Permanent
• Annual leave of 25 days per annum plus bank holidays and opportunity to buy an additional 5 days each year.
In this role as Digital Workplace Engineer, you will be required to:
• Design, build and maintain technical solutions that support business requirements, supporting the achievement of business objectives, with particular focus on Microsoft M365.
• Produce and maintain clear, comprehensive and up-to-date documentation for all solutions.
• Analyse and improve existing solutions, applying best practices to enhance performance and reliability.
• Engage with external suppliers proactively and assure the quality of solutions they develop and deliver.
• Manage and resolve service requests and incidents, ensuring minimal disruption to business processes.
• Liaise with stakeholders to review processes and design optimised solutions that improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Contribute to platform and application improvements, ensuring solutions remain fit for purpose.
• Support Incident and Problem Management teams by investigating root causes and recommending preventative measures.

Our Ideal Candidate as Digital Workplace Engineer
• Experience in building technical solutions within a systems development team.
• Proven experience in developing and supporting Microsoft M365 technologies with exposure to some or all of the following:
- Intune (AutoPilot, Configuration Profiles, Compliance Policies) for end-point and mobile devices
- Entra ID (Azure AD), MFA, Conditional Access and on-premise AD
- PowerShell for M365 and Azure administration
- Administration and development of MS Teams and Sharepoint
- PowerApp development
• Skilled in producing clear, accurate and up-to-date documentation.
• Experience in analysing and improving existing technical solutions.
• Knowledge of cloud technologies and modern integration platforms and techniques
