Registration Services – Where Service Excellence Begins

Are you an experienced event manager and a motivated leader with a passion for public service? We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic Area Manager to join our team!

Our service plays a vital role in the community, delivering statutory responsibilities, such as the registration of births and deaths, taking legal notices for marriages and civil partnerships, conducting ceremonies, and maintaining historic records. The service is also responsible for issuing certified copies of these important documents.

As an Area Manager you will lead our specialist and technical teams across the county, providing strategic and operational direction. You will oversee day-to-day service delivery for our ceremony team, driving multi-agency collaboration, including at national level, and leading on marketing our ceremonies.

We are seeking an individual who holds a degree in a relevant subject or who can demonstrate equivalent experience in event management. Our ideal candidate will have proven experience of managing and motivating a team, as well as effectively managing a busy customer facing environment. Excellent organisational, IT, Marketing and communication skills will be crucial to succeeding in this role.

Experience in Registration Services is desirable, but not essential.

If you are ready to make a meaningful impact and lead a high-performing team, we would love to hear from you!
