Are you a highly organised and resilient administrator who can stay calm, focused and professional in a busy, fast-paced environment? We are looking for a Business Support Officer to join our Integrated Front Door, where your work will help ensure children, young people and families receive the right response at the right time.

This is a varied and important role at the heart of children’s services. You will provide high-quality administrative support to a busy front door service, helping to manage information, support meetings, maintain accurate records and ensure that work is progressed efficiently. You may be responding to telephone calls, handling email correspondence, updating systems, preparing information for colleagues and supporting the smooth running of daily business processes.

Due to the nature of the Integrated Front Door, this role involves hearing and reading highly confidential and sensitive information about children, young people and their families. Some of this information may be distressing. You will therefore need to be emotionally resilient and able to manage sensitive information professionally, while working within clear procedures and always maintaining confidentiality. Full training, guidance and support will be provided.

We are looking for someone with excellent organisational skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritise competing demands. You will be confident using IT systems, able to communicate clearly with colleagues and professionals, and committed to providing reliable business support in a service where accuracy, timeliness and professionalism really matter. If you are looking for a challenging but rewarding role where your contribution supports vital safeguarding work, we would welcome your application.
