The Opportunity

Our Business Development team are currently recruiting for a Commercial Analyst and Senior Commercial Analyst, dependent on experience, playing a central role in the growth of our evolving Metering and Solutions Business. Dedicated to serving business customers, you will apply your analytical and commercial skills to drive strategic initiatives.

Your contributions will be instrumental in shaping the future direction of our services, ensuring they meet the diverse needs of our customer base while aligning with our business goals.

What you’ll be doing

As a Senior Commercial Analyst, you’ll delve into market segments, assessing the revenue and profitability of specific products and customer contracts. Your insights will guide the development of new propositions and the expansion of our business lines.
As a Senior Commercial Analyst, you’ll take a leading role in driving strategic decision-making and business change. You’ll deeply explore market segments, evaluating the revenue and profitability of specific products and customer contracts, and your insights will be critical in shaping new propositions and expanding our business lines.

In this role, you’ll work closely with the Commercial Development Manager, providing strategic input and presenting detailed analyses and recommendations to senior stakeholders. You’ll be responsible for modelling financial metrics in collaboration with our Finance team, ensuring precision in performance forecasting, budgeting, and the strategic adjustment of tariff prices.

You’ll also guide junior team members, sharing your expertise to develop their analytical skills and ensure alignment with broader business objectives. Your ability to identify and capitalise on commercial opportunities through rigorous analysis will be key, as will your talent for translating complex data into actionable insights that drive the business forward. Additionally, you will map and monitor portfolio risks, proposing balanced strategies to mitigate them and safeguard our business.
