We have an exciting role on offer within our Community Learning service as a Community Learning Tutor (Maths).
About Us
This post is a key function within Middlesbrough Council’s Community Learning Service, which will involve teaching Functional Skills maths (up to Level 2) to learners at Lingfield College for Post 16 students.
The successful applicant must be able to:
- Deliver innovative teaching and learning.
- Be proactive in ensuring the safety of your learners.
- Embed the requirements of the common inspection framework into your teaching practice.
- Be highly organised, proactive and able to complete paperwork on time, with high levels of accuracy.
- Work flexibly to support all service areas to meet strategic priorities.

Please note, this is a fixed term vacancy until 31st August 2026, working 30 hours per week.
