The A Side: A Day in The Life

The B Side: Skills & Experience

  • Focus on the recently acquired Historic Films Archive catalogue, in areas such as content logging, license reports, metadata creation and asset transfers.
  • Develop expertise of content management systems and workflow processes within the Mercury Studios/UMG & Historic Films Archive ecosystem, ensuring continued accurate reporting and revenue recognition.
  • Liaise with internal teams in addition to external HFA colleagues to establish a cohesive and transparent workflow.
  • Resolve content issues accurately, ensuring solutions work for all the parts of the business and deadlines are adhered to.
  • Provide progress reports relating to HFA content onboarding, including any other catalogue expansion.
  • Assist repertoire setup, research and completion for both new and catalogue releases across Mercury Studios and UMG systems.
  • Ensure correct and complete product setup in R2, GRS, RT and other content management systems when it relates to Historic Film Archive, or other sizable libraries.
  • Work closely with BA, Commercial Finance and the wider Catalogue team, providing the highest quality of data relating to HFA and other libraries as needed.

Person Specification

  • A general understanding of content management systems and metadata related issues.
  • Track record of quickly understanding new business information systems and processes.
  • Ability to work closely with other team members while, at the same time, taking responsibility for and initiative over personal workload.
  • Excellent coordination, communication, reporting and trouble-shooting skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure, multi-task and be highly flexible to juggle priorities and meet all deadlines.
  • Personable and co-operative approach, strong verbal, and written communication
  • Ability to communicate effectively to colleagues, key internal and external business contacts.
  • Strong passion for and knowledge of music and audio-visual content.
  • Driven and results orientated.
