The Discovery Optimisation Assistant is responsible for product go lives and classification, whilst supporting the Optimisation Specialists in constantly improving the online customer experience.

Responsible for:

Supporting the Discovery Optimisation Specialists to ensure all site standards are adhered to and any live issues are promptly rectified
Managing ad-hoc queries from the wider business regarding product discoverability
Assisting Capita team with queries and overseeing completion of BAU tasks
Ensuring all products are live onsite as soon as possible, populated in the correct categories
Working with internal and external customer in mind, driving onsite conversion and ensuring optimal site experience

Accountabilities and Responsibilities

Overseeing the categorisation and classification of product on site ensuring a consistent and accurate approach
Running and communicating product availability reports to wider business
Conducting daily site checks and documenting errors to be corrected
Answering and completing adhoc queries
Supporting with onsite updates as requested (search and mega menu changes etc.)
Supporting the team with competitor analysis and BAU weekly reporting
Updating Confluence briefs with relevant Discovery Optimisation information (links, CTAs etc.)
Supporting launches for offers and full price trading activity, ensuring all requirements are delivered to deadline and working with relevant stakeholders
Using the CMS systems to deliver onsite activity
Ensuring all CMS training documentation is up to date and accurate
Uploading files within our file transfer service and updating the off-shore team Capita of any changes or priority tasks, monitoring accessibility and account issues
Raising any BAU issues with IT and Accenture as required

Technical and Behavioural Skills, Knowledge & Experience

Team player
Strong organisational and communication skills
Experience in a fast-paced working environment
Awareness of the New Look customer and key competitors with an active interest in eCommerce
Self-motivated and driven
Some experience in using technical tools and systems
Excel competent
