Summary
At M&S, we’re transforming how technology empowers our colleagues to do their best work – and we’re looking for a Domain Architect to help shape that future.
Sitting within our Architecture function, this role plays a critical part in defining the strategy and target architecture for enterprise integration capabilities.
You’ll work at pace across a complex landscape, partnering with Product, Engineering and Business leaders to simplify, modernise and drive long-term value.
We’re looking for someone who combines strong enterprise architecture skills and integration expertise with the ability to influence at senior level and bring others on the journey.
What you’ll do

Define and drive the enterprise integration architecture strategy and target-state roadmap.

Ensure secure, scalable integration solutions aligned to enterprise standards and governance.

Simplify and modernise the technology landscape, optimising cost, reuse and operational efficiency.

Align product, engineering and delivery roadmaps with strategic architecture direction.

Lead architecture governance, establish best practices and influence key technology decisions.
Who you are
-
Experienced Enterprise Architect with 10+ years leading architecture in complex organisations.

Proven track record of delivering large-scale technology transformation and modernization initiatives.

Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at senior and executive levels.

Strategic and outcome-focused, translating business priorities into practical architecture outcomes.

Deep expertise in enterprise integration, APIs, event-driven architectures, microservices, cloud platforms and security standards.
