About the role 

Are you up for the challenge? We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic individual to join our finance team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a developing organisation and be an integral part of shaping and growing our team.

This position sits within the closedown and technical team, which primarily focuses on the production of the council’s financial statements, maintenance of the fixed asset register, and supporting the external audit of the statement of accounts.

The role of the Finance Business Partner is to provide support the closedown and external audit processes through the production of high quality working papers, technical expertise and analysis.

 

About you 

You will be CCAB part qualified /AAT qualified /equivalent or have significant financial experience.

You will be experienced in analysing and addressing complex issues. 

You will have up to date knowledge of accounting policy such as IFRS, CIPFA codes of practice.

You will be able to demonstrate the ability to work in partnership with key stakeholders including internal and external auditors.

We are looking for an individual with drive, initiative and confidence.
