The role
This is a teaching role – but with purpose. As a Freelance Essential Skills ICT Tutor, you’ll help young people achieve qualifications in digital skills. From online safety to workplace technology, your teaching will equip them for today’s job market.

You’ll:

  • Plan and deliver engaging ICT lessons aligned to the Essential Skills curriculum.
  • Deliver and assess accredited ICT qualifications.
  • Build digital confidence for learners with different starting points.
  • Maintain records, safeguarding and compliance standards.
  • Support progression into work, training or education.

The person
Let me ask you:

  • Do you have GCSE (A-C) or equivalent in English and Maths (or Level 2 Essential Skills)?
  • Do you have a recognised teaching qualification in line with ES Circular 01/12?
  • Have you delivered Essential Skills ICT before?
  • Are you passionate about building digital confidence and employability?
