About the Role
We are looking for a creative and motivated Graphic Designer to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong eye for design, attention to detail, and a passion for bringing ideas to life through visual storytelling. You will support the design team in creating engaging materials across digital and print platforms while developing your skills in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Designing digital and print materials including social media graphics, presentations, brochures, flyers, and web assets.
- Work closely with the marketing team to deliver high-quality creative solutions
- Adapt and repurpose existing designs to suit different platforms including large formats
- Support in maintaining brand consistency across all materials and channels
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute fresh design ideas
- Prepare and package artwork files for production or publishing
- Handle photo editing, retouching, and cut paths
- Stay updated on design trends, tools, and best practices
- Support internal communications and staff-facing material
Skills & Requirements
- 2+ years of in-house experience
- Degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign; knowledge of After Effects or Premiere Pro is a plus)
- Basic understanding of typography, colour theory, and layout design
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines
- A portfolio showcasing design work
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Enthusiasm to learn and grow within the role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with multiple teams
- Strong time and project management skills — able to prioritise and juggle competing deadlines
Preferred but not essential
- Managing Asset/images with a CMS
- After effects/Premier software experience
