Head of ERTMS – Monument Place
Fantastic opportunity to recruit a Head of ERTMS based at Monument Place, near London Bridge
As the Head of ERTMS you will be accountable for the delivery of digital signalling major programmes affecting GTR’s operations, including the East Coast Digital Programme (ECDP), Midland Mainline and Brighton Main line.
To show national leadership on digital signalling schemes in order to shape the future of railway operations for the next generation across the UK. Create a centre of expertise and excellence for digital signalling that represents the go-to destination for other operators and infrastructure maintainers across the world.
We are looking for an individual who can bring the following experience to this role:-
Experience:
- Experience working on complex railway programmes
- Experience of delivery of new technologies
- Experience working in environments with conflicting priorities
- Experience negotiation in difficult time critical environments.

- Member of a relevant professional body with chartered status and/or educated to degree level.
- Strong commercial focus and financially astute.
- Excellent communication skills with demonstrable delivery of leadership and behavioural change within a large organisation.
- Excellent People management skills
