About the role 

Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for delivering high-quality housing services? North Northamptonshire Council is seeking a dynamic and experienced Housing Capital Investment Manager to lead the delivery of our statutory capital property investment programme.

In this pivotal role, you will manage all aspects of capital investment in council housing (excluding Gas, Electric, and Voids), including stock condition surveys, cyclical maintenance programmes, and property adaptations. You’ll ensure our homes are safe, compliant, and meet the needs of our tenants—while aligning with the Council’s corporate objectives and legal obligations.

 

About you 

  • Proven experience in managing housing capital investment programmes or similar large-scale property maintenance projects.
  • Strong knowledge of housing legislation, health and safety regulations, and procurement best practices.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to drive innovation and service transformation in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment.
  • A collaborative and proactive approach to problem-solving and service delivery.
