Loughborough College Public Services is a successful curriculum team with over 250 learners, offering a wide range of BTEC provision from Level 1 up to Level 3. 

We are seeking to appoint a full time Lecturer to teach within our Public Services provision starting in late August 25.  A relevant degree, teaching qualification and considerable knowledge of the public services area are essential, and you must have some teaching and vocational experience preferably in further education.

Topics to be taught may include:

  • Principles of Managing Security threats
  • Government and Protective Services
  • Citizenship and Diversity
  • Fitness
  • Global affairs
  • Teamwork 

Residential trips are a mandatory aspect of the Public Services programmes and staff support with these activities is required.

The successful candidate will deliver inspiring teaching and learning to ensure all students are supported to succeed through the delivery of high quality and challenging learning experiences. Progress will be monitored to ensure target grades are met and all learners achieve to the best of their ability.

Public Services is a growth area for the College, and we are looking for candidates with a team ethos who will work with colleagues to develop and embrace exciting and innovative modes of delivery.
