Job Title: Lecturer – Music Therapy (Part-Time)
Salary: Commencing at £34,823 with progression to £39,170 per annum Pro Rata.
About the Role
What You Will Do
- Provide engaging, inclusive, and pedagogically sound teaching in music therapy, supporting students across varied levels of experience.
- Supervise students where appropriate, enabling application of music therapy techniques and fostering collaborative skills.
- Engage in curriculum planning and assessment, ensuring alignment with academic and industry standards.
- Participate in departmental meetings, assessment panels, and other academic duties as required by the School of Music and Education.
About You
- Degree or equivalent in music or related field.
- Professional experience as a music therapist.
- Experience teaching at HE level or equivalent.
- Excellent music therapy skills and techniques.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
