This role will focus on scaling our Consumer and PR marketing strategy, and is critical in helping us achieve our ambitions and vision to create an independent currency of trust in the UK.

You will be a key member of the UK Regional Marketing team, and will help build: 

  • Brand awareness and growth by creating and managing the marketing and customer narrative in the UK 
  • Strategies to attract Consumers to amplify usage and adoption, working closely with global Marketing and Product teams 
  • Manage the PR engagement and media outreach strategy to develop the narrative and proactive public relations 
  • Expertise in Consumer marketing, PR, market nuances and local insights 

This role will help lead and develop our Consumer and PR strategy to deliver value and growth in consumer usage of the platform, and drive awareness of the Trustpilot brand in the UK. You will be a core member of the UK marketing team that is tasked with  amplifying our narrative, creating innovative, compelling, data-driven campaigns that demonstrate the value of Trust. 

You will create and execute on an impactful and commercially focused Consumer marketing strategy. This will include attracting new consumers to Trustpilot to encourage them to read and write reviews, along with driving further usage amongst existing consumers. You will work closely with other stakeholders in Marketing such as Digital, Product Marketing, Content to ensure a successful omni-channel approach. 

This is in addition to managing the PR strategy to amplify our narrative through key media and digital channels, events, awards and more. You will be responsible for all regional PR initiatives, stories and outreach. 

This role is based in our London office and working flexibly 1-2 days a week in our central London office. 

What you’ll be doing: 

  • Own and deliver the Consumer engagement strategy for the UK, focusing on accelerating consumer adoption and usage to encourage consumers to ‘read and write’ reviews and embed Trustpilot as part of their buying journey 
  • Analyse consumer trends and sourced data to develop compelling consumer campaigns that support Trustpilot’s value proposition. 
  • Develop the PR strategy for the UK, using a local agency and with global support. This includes developing press releases and messaging points, along with managing relationships with journalists in key media outlets 
  • Create and execute speaking, podcast and media engagement 
  • Work closely with Global Marketing, Product and External Comms teams to integrate programs, support product releases and/or global initiatives 
  • Take full responsibility for each of your strategies; delivering on time and on budget, with clear ROI or other metrics.

 

Who you are: 

  • Proven experience in Consumer marketing and PR functions 
  • Experience working with/managing agency partners, influencers and press directly, consumer marketing experience
  • Ability to operate in a high-performance, commercial environment and strive to continuously learn and improve
  • Proven experience of building and executing consumer and PR campaigns in a SaaS business – with demonstrable strong ROI
  • Continual focus on customer-centric, data-driven insights to drive decisions to improve business performance 
  • A proactive hands-on approach, with the ability to work on both strategic and tactical levels
  • High energy level, with a bias for positivity, action and accountability
  • Solid stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence others – regardless of seniority or department
