 Part-Qualified Finance Analyst – Nottingham

Are you a part-qualified analyst looking for an opportunity to make a real impact in a fast-paced, data-driven environment? Enva is seeking a Part-Qualified Finance Analyst to join our local team in Colwick, Nottingham.

Reporting directly to the Senior Finance Business Partner, you’ll play a key role in providing meaningful analysis, driving performance insight, and supporting decision-making across our operational sites. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives on problem-solving, enjoys working with data, and wants to help shape strategic improvements across a growing business.

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Gather, analyse, and interpret operational and financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Performance Insights: Support managers with data-driven insights to improve performance and efficiency across key business areas.
  • Forecasting & Modelling: Assist in compiling forecasts and business models, ensuring data integrity and alignment with company objectives.
  • Operational Support: Partner with site and functional teams to translate data into actionable plans and measurable results.
  • Process Improvement: Review existing processes, identify inefficiencies, and recommend improvements to enhance reporting and decision-making.
  • Month-End & KPIs: Support the finance team during month-end, helping reconcile key metrics and produce management reports.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, supporting the integration of financial and operational insights into everyday business decisions.

 

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise 

We’re looking for a proactive and analytical individual who enjoys turning data into insight and insight into action.

Essential:
  • Part-qualified (AAT, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent experience)
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail
  • Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, data manipulation)
  • Strong communication and relationship-building abilities
  • Commercial awareness and the confidence to challenge assumptions constructively
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Desirable:
  • Experience in an industrial, logistics, or manufacturing environment
  • Exposure to Power BI, SQL, or similar data visualisation tools
  • Previous experience working alongside finance or operational teams
