Circa £36,000 per annum (Dependent on Skills & Experience)
Permanent / Full Time – 37 hours per week

Join our Planning & Capacity team within Development Services at Anglian Water, where we work closely with developer customers to ensure that growth is planned and managed responsibly. Our team leads the way in providing a data-driven, customer-focused pre-planning service that protects our assets and supports environmental sustainability.

Meet the Team

You’ll be joining a multidisciplinary team of engineers, analysts, and planners; our goal is to deliver great customer service and enable sustainable growth across the Anglian Water region. What You’ll Be Doing

  • Act as a key point of contact for developer customers, delivering a high-quality service that balances technical insight with customer care.

  • Assess development proposals to identify risks and constraints, using logical analysis and technical data to inform decisions.

  • Collaborate with colleagues across the business to support integrated water and water recycling strategies.

  • Communicate clearly and confidently with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring complex information is understood and actionable.

  • Contribute to Anglian Water’s vision of enabling sustainable growth through innovative and cost-effective solutions.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking someone who combines a customer-first mindset with strong technical and analytical skills, and who thrives in a team-oriented, organised environment.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Degree-level education in a technical subject

  • Experience in the water industry or similar technical field

  • Skilled in data analysis and technical report writing

  • Commercial awareness and strategic thinking
