What the day will look like

As Process Improvement, Data and Automation Manager, you will lead initiatives that enhance the efficiency, effectiveness and governance of business processes through process optimisation, automation and improved use of data. Working closely with Business Governance leaders and a broad range of collaborators, you will help find opportunities, deliver improvements and embed balanced solutions across the organisation.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Define and lead the strategy for process improvement, automation and data-driven governance, aligned with business priorities and enterprise standards.
  • Identify, prioritise and deliver a pipeline of process, reporting and automation improvements that drive efficiency, strengthen controls and enhance decision-making.
  • Partner with collaborators across Business Governance and the wider business to secure agreement and drive successful adoption of new solutions.
  • Lead change and project delivery activities, ensuring improvements are implemented effectively and deliver measurable benefits.
  • Analyse processes, documentation, and information to find opportunities for simplification, automation, AI-enabled solutions and improved controls.
  • Develop and enhance dashboards, reporting and data visualisations to support governance, risk and control decision-making.
  • Improve data quality, consistency and accessibility by collaborating with data owners and subject matter experts.
  • Ensure all process and automation improvements align with Aon’s Risk Management Framework, regulatory requirements and internal policies.

Skills and experience that will lead to success

  • Experience delivering improvements in workflows, mechanization and data initiatives, ideally within governance, risk, compliance, operations or a similarly regulated environment.
  • Strong data literacy with the ability to analyse information, identify trends and translate insights into practical solutions and business improvements.
  • Experience using reporting and visualisation tools such as Power BI, Tableau or similar platforms to build impactful dashboards and reporting solutions.
  • Proficient written and spoken English
  • Knowledge of workflow, automation or low-code technologies, such as Power Automate, RPA tools or equivalent solutions, or experience partnering effectively with technical teams to deliver automation projects.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills, with the ability to work collaboratively, challenge constructively and drive change in an inclusive and supportive way.
