Overview
Production Fulfilment Planner will be based at our Barnstaple site. This role does require being onsite 5 days a week.
The salary for this role is up to £36k, depending on experience.
What you’ll be doingÂ
- Work with peers to develop and maintain production schedules which deliver On-time, On-cost, On-Quality and maximise capacity utilization, maintaining the Master Production Schedule a circa <=6 month horizon
- Monitor MRP action lists to ensure accuracy to plan
- Responsible for setting lead times for the product portfolio in liaison with Production
- Maintain inventory parameters within AccSC (eg ROP, Batch Size, Safety Stock, etc) as appropriate to balance inventory with OTOCOQ
- Work with Production to identify bottlenecks early and adjust schedules accordingly to overcome constraints, optimising work centres and routings
- Prepare route sheets and works orders, including multi-operation sub-contract processing on some items; with route sheets detailing manufacturing operations and highlighting any special requirements.
- Maintain visual management of performance against schedule and KPIs
- Liaise with stakeholders on engineering change requests, review and communicate the impact on schedules and maintain effectivity dates in AccSC, Providing progress/status updates to Delivery PMs as required

The skills you need
- Experienced in material and production planning, comfortable using various tools and processes
- Experience of ERP in a manufacturing environment
- Understanding / experience of product lifecycles
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- A team player who can work autonomously, methodical and accurate with attention to detail and still hit deadlines
- Engineering background NVQ3, ONC or equivalent is desirable
