Job Title: Production Manager
Location: Aalten Netherlands
Contract type: 1 year fixed term to be extended to permanent contract based on performance.
Germain’s, a global leader in seed enhancement, is looking for an experienced Production Manager to head up our site in the Netherlands.
In this role, you’ll take ownership of the full production operation—driving efficiency, quality, safety, and cost control. You’ll lead a large, dedicated team, manage budgets and stock levels, and work closely with colleagues in Quality, R&D, Finance, and Commercial to keep everything running at the highest standard.

What you’ll be doing:
- Supervise and maintain production/process specifications through careful management of equipment and controls.
- Ensure compliance with established safety procedures and implement improvements where necessary.
- Ensure that employees receive proper training and are fully aware of their responsibilities.
- Identify and resolve complex operational issues, applying solutions that improve productivity and efficiency.
- An HBO understanding level.
- Extensive experience in manufacturing/operations, especially with production/process equipment operations.
- In-depth knowledge of safety procedures and quality control in an industrial environment.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities, particularly in complex matters, with the capacity to work independently and make critical decisions.
- Fluency in written and spoken in English and Dutch is essential.
